Yeah it was a bit hot for this run at about 38c but all of us enjoyed this get together.
Starting at the Blacksmith Inn car park OTH under the shady trees we then headed off through the Humbug Scrub area with lots of sharp bends, but got through OK .
We then headed up to Bethany and enjoyed our coffee and a great morning tea provided by the organisers Barry & Robin., plus we also had a visit by Gil & Fran and their pooch from Lyndoch and there was a lot of chatting taking place under the cool shelter there.
After this break we took off to go to the Menglers Hill lookout not far away and believe that some of our group had never been there before. What an outlook !!
The group then had a very scenic drive along the Menglers hill road through the ranges at the rear and down along to the flat where we drove along to end up at the town of Stockwell and a lot of our mob had not been there before also.
The Hotel had all been done up well and was very clean and tidy and after lunch most of us went out to get together and hear the speech from our president Steve and he gave a big thanks for the organisers of this run , Barry & Robin Cumming. and thanks again to them
We are sure that all enjoyed this club outing.
Until next time.
Cheers
Bruce & Anne
